Before you can enrol in this course you must contact the campus or campuses of
your choice for details of information sessions and other procedures that may
apply. Compulsory attendance at an information session may apply.
You will acquire advanced beauty therapy treatments, including aesthetic
aromatherapy, use of essential oils, epilation and make-up for photography. You
may choose from electives in the specialist beauty workplace training and
assessment or small business management areas.
You must complete all 22 core units plus eleven (11) elective units of
competency to receive the qualification.
People considering enrolment in beauty courses need to be aware that skills
development will require students to practise on each other and that industry
dress codes will apply. This will necessarily involve touch but will always be
practised and applied in accordance with industry codes of practice and ethics.
Details will be provided to intending students during pre-enrolment information
sessions or to enrolled students by the teacher.
There are no formal educational requirements for this course.
